The following new hikes are online and can be downloaded in pdf format. (The password for region J will open the file.) J10 White Hill FR and B17 Trail outside of Fairfax (Two hikes on one page). Distance: 6.0 and 6.6 miles Shaded: 60% and 80% Elevation Change: 1100' and 1200' 2nd hike has steep downhill. Rating: Hiking - 8 and 9 Difficulty - 6 and 8 2nd hike has lots of bikes. When to Go: Best when calm and clear. The first hike climbs to the top of White Hill offering great views and spring flowers, then returns. Rating: Hiking - 8 Difficulty - 7 Bicycles, horses on weekends. When to Go: Best on cool, clear winter weekdays. This is a short hike that climbs to the ridge south of Tennesse Valley offering great views in all directions. Often, lots of wildlife. J12 Marconi State Historic Park & Conference Center on Tomales Bay (No password required) Distance: 1.1 miles Shaded: 20% Elevation Change: 250' Moderately steep uphill Rating: Hiking - 7 Difficulty - 5 Possible conference in sesson. When to Go: Best when clear at the coast. Can be windy. This is a short hike that circles the Marconi Conference Center. It offers great views of Tomales Bay and the surrounding hills.
